Celebrating Diversity & Well-being: A Palette of Activities at NDIS Accommodations

At our National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) accommodations across various locations, we believe in creating vibrant, engaging, and inclusive environments for our participants. Our focus is not just on providing a safe and comfortable living space, but also on nurturing well-being and fostering connections through a diverse range of activities.

In the picturesque Mornington Peninsula, the activities we offer are a testament to the region’s natural beauty and cultural vibrancy. Our participants can rejuvenate themselves at the Peninsula Hot Springs or enjoy the stunning views from Arthur’s Seat Eagle. For wildlife enthusiasts, the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and the Mornington Peninsula National Park offer unforgettable experiences. The Red Hill Estate and Panorama Wildlife Sanctuary and Secret Gardens are perfect for those seeking serenity amid nature. We also provide visits to Yawa Aquatic Centre, Top Fun Shack, Everywhen Artspace, and McCullochs Contemporary Aboriginal Art for recreational and creative pursuits. Shopping enthusiasts can explore op shops and regular outings to cinemas and local restaurants make for a lively social scene.

Goldcoast, famous for its exciting theme parks, offers our residents a unique thrill-filled experience. The splash of fun at Wet n Wild, the magical charm of Movie World, the aquatic allure of Sea World, and the diverse attractions of Dreamworld make for an adrenaline-packed adventure. Not to forget, the iFly Indoor skydiving and the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Surfers Paradise add a dash of novelty to our activities palette. For a change of pace, participants can visit the SkyPoint Observation Deck for mesmerizing views.

In Cockatoo, we strike a balance between adventurous outdoor activities and calming indoor pursuits. Aboard the historic Puffing Billy Railway or at the SkyHigh Mount Dandenong, our participants can soak in the area’s scenic beauty. Emerald Lake Park and Cloudehill Gardens offer tranquil environments for nature lovers. Meanwhile, indoor activities like baking, yoga, mindfulness sessions, and various games foster creativity, relaxation, and camaraderie among participants. Movie nights, BBQ parties, and bonfires create a sense of community and belonging.

Across these locations, we aim to cater to diverse interests, foster new skills, and promote physical and mental well-being. We believe that these recreational activities, designed to entertain, educate, and inspire, play a crucial role in making our NDIS short-term accommodations feel like a second home for our participants
